First Year of Operation
Dear Friends, In October we will have been in business for a year. This, I hope, is as exciting to you as it is to me. Help us prepare to celabrate this momentous occassion by responding the the questions posted on Couli Kaffee facebook page. Summer Fun!
Come on over and join the summer fun! Friday night June 4th we’re open late. Featuring a live band at 6pm; Serving Super Nacho Bar from 5:30pm. Kids, Teens, Adults…all are welcome. Live Music is Free
We had a great time Friday with Music Night. Would have liked to see some teenagers there but I understand it was a busy night with baseball and setting up for Riverless. Had a good turnout anyway. Everyone enjoyed listening to LMNtree and eating Super Nachos. I hope to have another similar evening of fun soon. So, stay alert for posters and blogs.
This Friday, June 18th Come for our second Music Night! Extending open hours till 8:30pm. Music by Blackdawg Shuffle begins at 6pm. Serving Superb Salad Bar. Drawings held throughout the night for Prizes such as Free Drinks, Free Food, Discount Coupons….
Friday July 16th local Cody Jarvis & Band The Wild Hares! Extended hours 6am-8:30pm Evening meal ready at 5:30, Music begins at 6:00pm.
Summer is winding down, but the fun continues. The next music night is scheduled for August 13th staring Cindy Boehler. Meanwhile, on your way out or returning from the Fair, stop in for lunch or a cold drink. Join us next week for something special as we’ll be celebrating Kansas’ Biggest Rodeo by serving Breakfast Buffett all week (July 30-August 4) and our famous Fajitas for lunch!!
Rodeo Week ended with a chaotic but terrific Saturday. With the heat, I expected more Smoothie sales but it was great anyway.
Come out Friday August 13th for another Music Night. Starring Cindy Boehler from Nebraska. She’s recorded in Nashville, it’ll be a real fun time! Open all day till 8:30pm
Update: Friday wasn’t a full house, but we did have a good turnout and everyone loved Cindy, Curtis, and Michael. Don’t miss them next time!
Next Music Night is scheduled for September 10th with Sarah Rudd, a local performer
What’s Happening at Couli Kaffee!
Coming into spring we’ve been hosting several groups for lunches and special events:
A Red Hat group is booked for a lunch in April. We’ve also been asked to supply baked goods for a Main Street event this month.
Coming in May, a graduation open house is booked. (It’s not too late to provide something special for your graduate! call today)

April 19th: We’ve enjoyed serving several different Red Hat groups the last few months. Wednesday mornings we are blessed to host the Church of God Men’s Coffee–all men are welcome! Once a month the Church of God Women get together here to fellowship as well.
Oh yes, exciting news–(especially for all those who ask for morning eggs) We have a huge range now, just waiting to get a gas line connected and the hood installed. Stay tuned!
May 21: The open house for two of our High School Graduates went very well. Erik & I were pleased to see so many guests in the shop. We were delighted that it was a success and the clients were satisfied. Of course, we learned a few lessons for future events.
Now, School is out & Summer is here! I’m happy to see more of the teenagers come in and hangout. I hope to see a huge young crowd on June 4th for a night of Live Music and Nachos. We’ll even have some drawings for discounts.
The goal is to have a variety of artists playing throughout the summer with nightly specials that will bring in adults as well as youth. Watch for posters at Couli Kaffee. If you’re interested in providing entertainment for these Fun Friday Nights, then stop by or call soon!
NOTICE: Our Saturday Hours Have Changed! Due to the lack of “early birds” on Saturday mornings, we’ve changed our opening time to 7am (Saturdays Only). Current hours are: M-F 6am-4pm & Sat 7am-2pm; Except for Music Nights which extend hours to 8:30pm & other community happenings in which we will extend hours (ie: rodeo)
Hosted an Anniversary Party this last weekend. A few of the couples Danced. It was lovely!

The week preceeding Valentines Day we have some great treats going on. February 8-13 our lunch special is Steak Fajitas. There will be a deal for couples who want to share a Fajita meal and special dessert. (Reservations would be appreciated)
